Residents showed the staff what's what today during our monthly Resident/Staff Challenge. This month, we played balloon volleyball. Not only did the residents out-play the staff, but they outlast them too! The staff was ready to call it quits before the residents. Time flies when you're having fun!

Fourth of July BBQ is Right Around the Corner...

Don't miss out on our July 4th BBQ! Lunch will start at noon, featuring summer delights like hot dogs, hamburgers, and corn on the cob. For dessert, our residents will bake up some delicious patriotic treats. And, don't miss the backyard games after the food! We'll have Ladder Golf, Life Size Kerplunk, and a Water Balloon Tossing Contest.







We also have other fun activities this week... Brandon Andronesi comes in today for a wonderful musical performance, Thursday features a presentation from Renaissance Family and Cosmetic Dentistry on Oral and Overall Health Awareness, and don't forget Friday with our New Resident Welcome Party!

Experience Your Food!

Chef Nick spent some special time with the residents for the June Food Experience Demonstration. During Happy Hour, he made Vietnamese Spring rolls, with rice paper, rice noodles, shrimp, lettuce, cilantro, mint and basil as an appetizer. There were two different dipping sauces to choose from, a sweet chili and hoisin peanut. The residents loved it!

 Jackie tried her hand at making the spring rolls. It wasn't as hard as she expected, and it turned out great!

Happy Birthday, June Babies!

We celebrated the June Resident birthdays today with a Root Beer Float Party!

June and Virgil looked so sweet together eating their sweet treat!

 The whole gang had a great time celebrating all our June birthdays - music, good company and a delicious treat make for a wonderful afternoon.

Balloon Volleyball is a Blast!

We welcomed our new residents with a game of balloon volleyball. Everyone had so much fun - as you can see by the ear-to-ear smiles on their faces! We hope to grow our game even further and have regular weekly games and teams. There's always fun to be had with the residents at Creekside!
