To Honor Our Veterans

Veteran's Day is a very special day at Creekside. With over 20 veterans among our residents, and many others with a family member that has served or is currently serving in the military, Veteran's Day is a day to remind us that we should be thankful for our veterans' service and sacrifice.

Folsom Boy Scout Troop 94 presented us with new flags, presented the Colors, and recognized every veteran at lunch, with personal escort and recognition of each veteran. It was a beautiful presentation that honored all veterans. Additionally, each veteran received a thank you card from their fellow residents and from staff.

Spectacular and Spooky

Halloween was a blast around here!

We had a costume parade, Candy Character reveals, games, and goodies!

The dining room was alight with giggles and smiles. What a wonderful day!

At Creekside Oaks we encourage our residents to stay active and healthy. With that we have many activities of varied interests; weekly fun trips to museums, restaurants, gardens, points of interest and movie theaters. Card games played on a daily basis include Hand & Foot and Bridge; Scrabble and Mexican Train are played weekly.

Spiritual needs are met with weekly church services in our beautiful chapel, as well as weekly bible study and communion.

Our veterans are honored with their names displayed on our Honor Wall.

Resident's health is extremely important to us so we offer various exercise programs, specific to seniors, throughout the week led by resident volunteers as well as professionals.
