Never Too Old to Learn

Residents sit together as they learn to play Bridge, Pinochle, and Hand and Foot.
With instruction sheet in hand, players work together to learn the nuances of each game.
A few experienced players, like Gerry, have been gracious enough to sit and teach those of us who are struggling.

There are many residents playing that have never played before! And several who need a refresher. But who ever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?!

For the Creative Palate

Every Thursday, residents are given an opportunity to create their own delicious breakfast with the kitchen's Waffle or Omelet Bar. Residents can choose from a variety of delicious additions to their light and fluffy waffle or their protein-rich egg omelet. This time also gives the residents time to see the faces behind the kitchen doors.

Making Valentine's Decorations

During our weekly craft hour, we made tissue paper flowers to decorate the Activity Room for Valentine's Day. Residents were able to choose any combination of the tissue paper colors to create simple but beautiful flowers to decorate the community.
